Scott Rolen kicked off his MLB career as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. The third baseman won NL Rookie of the Year honors in 1996 while with the Phillies and had several solid years with the team before they traded him in 2002 to the St. Louis Cardinals. In 2004, Rolen batted .314 with 34 home runs and 124 RBIs, and during the World Series in 2006, Rolen hit .421 with a home run, three doubles and two RBIs, helping St. Louis win their first Championship since 1982.
